What is Caché?
Caché is a post-relational database that uniquely offers
three integrated data access options which can be used simultaneously
on the same data: a robust object database, high performance SQL,
and rich multidimensional access. No mapping is required between
object, relational, and multidimensional views of data, resulting
in huge savings in both development and processing time. Caché
enables rapid Web application development, extraordinary transaction
processing speed, massive scalability, and real-time queries against
transactional data.

Can I just buy AMO e-Commerce for Web Sites, because I am
happy with my back office system?
M-Tech have two packages AMO e-Commerce Server for Web Sites
and AMO Advanced Mail Order for a complete back office system.
These systems can exist independently. You can purchase one, or
the other, or (preferably) both. M-Tech can integrate AMO e-Commerce
Server with a different back office system if you require
or it can run as a stand alone system.
What if I am already happy with my Web Sites, but want a new
back office system?
Then you can just purchase the AMO Advanced Mail Order package
and we will configure it to work with your Web Sites. There are
many options we can provide such as exporting information from
AMO to your Web Site and importing order details from your Web
Site back into AMO.
What is AR Login for?
Clients who have purchased either AMO (Advanced Mail Order) back
office system or AMO e-Commerce Server can login to this area
to issue new Action Requests (AR’s) and monitor progress
of existing Action Requests. An Action Request is a request from
a client for some action regarding the system, sometimes these
are development requests (new report or change to a report, enhancement
to a Web Site, additional field, some new functionality etc.)
or they can be support requests (why does this report show this?).
What if I have a lot of data in my current system that
I don’t want to lose?
We are very experienced in extracting data from a variety of
systems and importing it into AMO. Obviously your data is very
important to your business and, with the right system, could produce
valuable information you can use in the future. We can extract
customer information complete with historical order information
as well as the standard information such as product information
and stock details.
